Whether you've been into sustainable fashion for years or you've just been introduced to it, the notion can feel daunting. How does one avoid this feeling? Talk about it! Through shared advice, tips, and tricks, the concept of sustainability becomes both digestible and obtainable.
In the spirit of knowledge being power, GALERIE.LA asked Danyel Moe, an ethical lifestyle blogger, her advice on sustainable fashion.

What was the best piece of fashion advice you've ever received?
Not to fear what others may not understand. Your fashion sense is an expression of yourself in communication to the world around you. It doesn't have to make sense to others.
What are your top two picks from GALERIE.LA's new arrivals?
The Blaine Lounge Pant and the Canteen bag in Onyx, which happens to be vegan & incredible.
What's your go-to outfit?
An oversized menswear shirt (with or without a blazer), a pair of black wide-leg trousers, and a loafer of some sort.
What does being sustainable mean to you?
Being sustainable, to me, means living consciously. Don't overbuy, refuse single-use plastic, go vegan or reduce the amount of meat you eat, turn the light off when you leave the room, etc. It's about creating lifelong habits.
What tips would you give to someone trying to achieve a more sustainable life?
I would say make small goals at a time. You will not be an eco-queen overnight, because that is near impossible. Focus on one thing at a time and add more in as you become comfortable.
